Tom CC & Barak scored the feature doc, assembling the Orquesta Mambofonica, a combination of Cuban and London based musicians. Expect to hear, rumba, son, salsa, jazz, mozambiques, mambos and boleros!
The soundtrack also features live performances of pieces written by Elsham Music for Cuban artists and bands, such as Chino De La Rumba, Pino y su Version, Addaché, Osdalgia, Los Niches
The film explores the music, religions, history and the political-economical issues of the the last century. All of these disparate threads are woven together by looking at the enormous impact the rum industry has had on Cuba.
